Raising Chicken the Right Way, Not the Factory Way.

EXCEEDING ORGANIC STANDARDS

We not only meet organic standards, we far exceed them! We have chosen to adopt a more comprehensive approach that transends the confines of today's organic standards.

NO GMO's

We do not use genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in any aspect of our farming practices, ensuring a completely natural and wholesome food source.

BIODYNAMIC FARMING

As we farm, we heal the land by participating in Nature's dance and supporting a diverse soil biota, which in turn helps feed our chickens. Healthy soil creates healthy food!

VACCINE FREE

Our pasture raised chickens thrive in a natural environment, free from routine vaccinations, allowing them to develop robust immune systems and ensuring our commitment to offering genuinely natural, healthy, and resilient poultry.

MOVEMENT EVERYDAY

Our chickens are raised in portable, floorless, shelters, which gives them access to pasture, a fresh breeze and sun while keeping them safe from predators and harsh weather. These shelters are moved every day to a fresh pasture spot, ensuring freshness.
  • FRESH PASTURE

By moving every day, our chickens enjoy fresh pasture grasses and bugs, giving them an endless buffet of nutrition from our pastures.
  • CLEAN LIVING

The daily move also gets our chickens off of yesterdays manure, so our chickens do not have to live in their own manure like typical commercially raised chickens do.
  • PASTURE REJUVINATION

One problem with keeping animals in one spot is their manure becomes a toxic build up when it is too concentrated. By moving our chickens everyday, we evenly distribute their manure, turning the toxic problem into an asset for the pasture and promoting healthy soil life.
  • REST

After the chicken are moved off yesterday's pasture spot, chickens will not hit that same area for up to a year. This allows the pasture a rest period to metabolize the nitrogen and kickstarts a new growth cycle, full of life and vitality, just the way nature intended.

ORDERING INFORMATION

ORDERING DURING THE SEASON
During the season, which extends from the end of April to Thanksgiving, we process chickens weekly on the farm. When ordering this time of year, it is best to order before Wednesday. This is because we process our chickens on Wednesday and having your orders in help us better plan for the week. You can order after Wednesday, however we may be out of certain cuts. Any orders during the week will be ready for pickup by Friday. You can pickup at the farm, at a local farmers market, or have us deliver. Inventory during this time of the year is always available to order on our website, regardless of if we have it on hand or not. We do this because, while we may not have a certain cut in our freezers, we do have more coming since we process chickens weekly. If we do not already have them on hand, your order will go on our cut sheet for the next processing date.

ORDERING AFTER THE SEASON HAS ENDED (WINTER)
After Thanksgiving, we update our website with available inventory. Unlike summer where everything is always available to order, during the winter, we try to stock our freezers and keep our inventory accurate to what is available in our freezers. Since there are no farmers markets during the winter, you can either pickup at the farm or have us deliver. All chicken during this time of the year is available as frozen only. Once items are sold out, they are out until we process our first batch of the season, which is usually the last weekend in April.

PAYMENTS
If you are ordering during the season when we are processing chickens weekly, it is best to choose "pay at pickup" or "invoice me later" as a payment option. This is because if you order a XL Breast and after we process our chickens, we find the biggest package is a Large, then we will modify your order, which will affect the pricing. We always try to get as close as we can to the sizes you wanted, but sometimes we have to make adjustments. So for this reason, it is best to wait until we finalize your order before you pay. If you do pay and we have to make an adjustment we can either refund or collect additional payment if necessary. During the winter months (From Thanksgiving until the end of April) you can pay with a card online.
