Pastured Eggs
All Natural Farm Fresh Chicken & Duck Eggs
From our farm to your table
About Our Eggs
Our pasture-raised chickens & ducks consume nutrients you can’t find in store bought eggs. They dine on food scraps, bugs, grass, clover & herbs. This diet will contribute to an egg with a whole lot of flavor and is more what nature had in mind for a chicken or duck. We never use GMO’s, vaccines, medicated feeds or antibiotics and the chickens and ducks diet is all natural. Studies have shown Farm Fresh eggs like ours have:
- less cholesterol
- less saturated fat
- increased vitamins A, E and D
- more omega-3 fatty acids
- more beta carotene
The nutrients to increase the amount of fatty acids in eggs come from chickens and ducks eating things like bugs, leafy greens, corn and flowers—ingredients completely vacant from a caged hen’s diet. So if you never had eggs from chickens or ducks raised on grass, bugs and sunshine, you are in for quite a treat!

Chicken Eggs
These are standard chicken eggs. However, when you buy a dozen of eggs from Nature's Grove Farm, you will get eggs from various different breeds.
Bantam Eggs
Bantams are smaller chickens and produce much smaller eggs. They have great flavor and are the ideal size to make deviled eggs, as each half is a perfect bite size.
Duck Eggs
Duck eggs are larger and bolder flavor than chicken eggs. They are a favorite for breakfast and baking. In baking, you can often times use 1 Duck egg vs 2 Chicken Eggs.

Nature's Grove Farm Eggs
Here on Nature’s Grove Farm, we are proud of how we raise our chickens and ducks. Our egg laying hens and ducks get free roam. Never de-beaked, get to run around in the sun, dust bath, and just be a happy chicken or duck! Their diet is much what it would be in nature; grass, grain and bugs! Raising our birds in this manner, they produce some of the best eggs both in flavor and in their richness of nutrients. Not only that, but we can hold our heads high and say we give them a great life! Don’t be fooled by the labels in the grocery store. Get to know the source of your food.

With beaks trimmed and placed in a battery cage, usually with other hens, these birds cannot perch, preen, dust bathe or nest and the wire floor is hard on her feet. At 16-18 weeks they will begin to lay, many hens suffer from osteoporosis, uterine prolapse, broken bones, feather loss, and other diseases brought on by stress. Their diet and lighting are strictly monitored and have no access to outside light or earth. Battery hens do not have access to veterinary care.

Cage Free sounds so much better, right? The reality? Millions of hens standing shoulder to shoulder in huge enclosed warehouses, forced to dwell day and night in their own waste, enduring air so foul that workers sometimes wear gas masks to prevent permanent damage to their own lungs. Just like their battery-caged sisters, ‘cage-free’ hens are brutally debeaked and force molted (starved for up to 14 days to restart an egg laying cycle). Despite the labels, this still is not how these hens should be treated, nor do they produce healthy eggs.
Bugs, Not Drugs
No antibiotics, hormones or feed fillers. Just a simple natural bird diet of greens, organic grains and bugs!

If you have never had all natural eggs fresh from the farm, we invite you to taste the difference!
